North Bergen High School Class of 2016, had one of the most successful fashion show fundraisers up to date, since my class of 2010. This show was hosted by Aseal Nassar & Ashley Pappatera.

The Class of 2016 and Ms. Valle carried a group of creative fashion scenes. Tokyo Lights, Women In Suits, Disney, Give Peace A Chance, Fashion Against War, Kill Bill, Pretty In Pink, Men in Blue, Kardashians to name a few. Besides being a sold out show, there was literally no where to sit 20 mins later of my arrivial. These students and Ms. Valle all worked hard and strong to participate in each others scenes.
I initially went with the intentions to watch my development model and muse ScottyVazz, but like always I never let experiences and talent go unnoticed. I must thank Ms. Valle for allowing me back-stage and photograph their experience. Their behind the scenes was pretty amazing and brought back some memories of my own. There were a lot of talented individuals as well as passionate directors for the scenes. Besides putting outfits together, these students all had a message and were able to portray it in their scenes through fashion.
Give Peace A Chance & Fashion Against War, were both the most impacting scenes. The students relayed a message to our heritages and culture. We do not need to be divided and hate one another due to our ethnic backgrounds, religion, culture, and/or sexual orientation. The big peace sign they created, couldn't have said it any better; that this world needs love and peace. Also, signs were also carried throughout with messages that society deals with everyday. The class of 2016 really wanted everyone to understand what is going on in the world.
Tokyo Lights execution was excellent. The students re-enactment of Sailor Moon for their opening act in Tokyo Lights was cute and creative. For some that are not familiar with what "Sailor Moon" is... Hulu it and start watching it! Sailor Moon is a...
"...Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi. It was originally serialized in Nakayoshi from 1991 to 1997; the 52 individual chapters were published in 18 tankōbon volumes..." Source: Wiki
Tokyo Lights consisted of Japanese inspired fashion. Leslion (scene director) definitely set off the mood by also mimicking in the background the great amount of people walking in the main city of Tokyo, Japan.
Pretty In Pink was the last and final scene. It was an all female scene showing different outfits in shades of pink. It was really cute because I got to see a couple cute dresses that I may want to purchase or try.... eventually. Lol Plus they were charming all the boys with their magic spell glitter kisses they were blowing.
Over all this fashion show was a success! It was amazing seeing these students come together as one and put on a show. All the scenes gave it their all and these graduating seniors will always have something great to speak about. Speaking about a show! A lucky girl was asked to go to prom in front of the whole auditorium by the shows host Aseal Nassar. This was probably the cutest thing ever, since the class was all in on it! That being said...
Congratulations on an amazing show Class of 2016! I wish you guys nothing but the best in your journeys!
Live Happy, Smile!
